Ultra 90 Diet Pill Reviews

Posted on 11. Mar, 2009 by Jesse M in Losing Weight

This week I thought I’d write a brief review on the diet pill, Ultra 90. While the website makes some pretty great claims, the evidence supporting these claims is lacking. This shorter version of my full Ultra 90 review will give you an overview of what Ultra 90 does (or doesn’t) have to offer in terms of weight loss.

Ultra 90 contains the following ingredients: collagen protein, aloe vera, vitamin c, safflower oil, glycerin, bees wax, and lecithin. Despite their cliams, none of these ingredients have been clinically proven to cause weight loss. Some believe that collagen and lecithin may help, but again, there’s no solid evidence to back this up. So in terms of effectiveness, it’s not looking to well for Ultra 90.

Ultra 90 uses a rather sneaky marketing tactic that’s worth noting. You’ll notice that they offer both an AM and a PM formula. Well if you look closely, you’ll see that the ingredients for each one are exactly the same. They then (of course) recommend that you take them both. Of course, if you do, you’ll have to buy double the amount to make it last. They do have a good recommendation though. They say not to eat 3 hours before going to bed and taking the pill. This is the time when most people find the unhealthy snacks around the house. So while the advice is good, it will be the fact that you didn’t eat during that time that made you lose weight, not the actual diet pills.

I’ll go now to their non-existent money back guarantee. That’s right. They don’t offer any guarantee of any kind. Their excuse is that the pills are perishable. But I’ve seen plenty (in fact most) of other diet pills that offer guarantees (anywhere from 30 days to a lifetime). This raises a little bit of concern that they don’t offer even a weak money guarantee. Do they not stand behind their product?

To sum it all up, don’t plan on Ultra 90 causing you to lose much weight. Don’t plan on the two formula’s to be any different. And don’t plan on getting your money back if/when you find that the product doesn’t work. You can get much better ingredients from companies that have great guarantees. Thumbs down for Ultra 90.
