Natural moisturizers and other natural skin care products make up the fastest growing segment of the skin care and anti aging market, and for good reasons. There are powerful reasons why more and more consumers are turning to natural skin products that are, in most cases, more effective than the products that you may be familiar with now, and which may also be safer. Lets examine the reasons to use a natural moisturizer.
Mainstream moisturizers, in common with so many other skin care and anti aging products, contain a wide range of chemical and petrochemical ingredients in many cases. A good example of this is mineral oil.
Mineral oil comes from crude oil and is a petrochemical product which is found in hundreds if not thousands of moisturizers. There are many naturally occurring alternatives which make outstanding natural moisturizers. Olive oil, shea butter and macadamia nut oil are all wonderful natural moisturizers however it is extremely rare to find them in mainstream skin care products because they are way more expensive than chemical alternatives like mineral oil and others.
However these health problems from the use of modern anti aging products are becoming more well understood and there is a fast growing movement away from mainstream anti aging skin products towards natural skin care products, including natural moisturizers, which utilise safe and effective natural ingredients.
Some consumers are choosing to source these natural moisturizers and are using them in their raw state. Whilst some are available in their raw state some are not, and that can be messy and awkward to make up your own facial moisturizer or body moisturizer in this way.
But there are skin care companies that recognize an opportunity here. These companies, usually very small niche anti aging companies, one in particular, manufacture extremely high quality natural skin care products using only known safe ingredients and in many cases produce natural moisturizers which are highly effective.
The obvious conclusion is that if ingredients like this are very expensive the products must also be very expensive but that is rarely the case. There are, as you can see, very powerful reasons for this movement away from chemical laden mainstream skin care products. The movement is towards more natural, safer and more effective products and away from the big brand names.
However because the companies that make these products are small niche companies, and because they do not advertise, it is quite common that consumers are unaware that these products exist. However when they do discover these ranges of natural skin care products, and when they try the products and discover their effectiveness, they are routinely surprised and usually become a customer for life.
