So you have decided to go on a diet and lose some weight, Good for You! Not to be a bubble buster or anything like that, sometimes a weight loss plan is hard to follow. Dieting and fitting exercise into your day can be challenging to say the least. To give you a good foundation, here are a few tips that can mean the difference between success and failure.

The more you have going for you in a fat loss program, the better off you are. This is all good, solid advice on losing weight, no gimmicks, no fads, no hooey, and just good simple tips on how you can hedge your bet on losing weight.

These tips are all about helping you to be successful in your weight loss goals. Just grab a hold of these tips and hold fast, they will see you through to the end.

First things first, Eat Breakfast every day. This has been proven time and time again, your body will work better and your metabolism will be higher if you eat breakfast.

As long as we are on eating and metabolism, never skip a meal. You may think you are cutting calories, and you are, however you will also slow your metabolism down by doing this. Your body will try to start saving energy and calories in anticipation of not getting food on a regular basis.

Eat often. This sounds funny, but you really do have to eat often to lose wait at a premium rate. It has been studied many times and the results are people that eat 5-6 times per day have less body fat than ones who eat 2-3 times per day. You should concentrate on eating carbohydrates with proteins about every 2-4 hours

Eat lots of protein. You should eat enough protein to support your activity level. (You should be exercising). Protein is much less likely to be converted into fat than other foods. Protein is one of the proven rapid weight loss supplements.

Keeping your body properly hydrated is very important; most people today are dehydrated most of the time. Your body requires around a gallon of water a day to stay sufficiently hydrated. If you drink soda with caffeine, you should drink even more water to make up for the dehydrating effects of caffeine.

You must stay hydrated for good health and for your body to run at optimal level for fat burning. You should drink around a gallon of water per day. If you drink coffee you should drink at least one more cup of water for every cup of coffee.

You should try to schedule a 30 minute period to walk every day, this is one of the best ways to burn fat there is. You should strive to walk a little further each week and get your walking to 45 to 60 minutes at least 6 days a week after about 3 months. Take the stairs instead of pushing a button; the stairs are better for you. Maybe try hiking or biking or even gardening, these are excellent exercises.
