Be a Natural Beauty: Tips for Staying Beautiful Inside and Out

You don’t have to adopt society’s definition of beauty. Learn to be beautiful with the features you were given at birth. These natural beauty tips enhance your appearance not hide it like many of the products on the market today.

To ensure that your beauty is natural use products that comes from the earth. Ancient civilizations used the world around them as their color palette. Their beauty was enhanced with plant extracts and fruit juices. If it was good enough to go inside their body, it was also good enough to go on their body.

You can follow that same philosophy today. To stay young looking naturally requires a natural approach. Here are a few suggestions that might help.

1. You are what you eat. Instead of hitting the fast food joint, have a meal made with fresh ingredients in your own home. Fresh foods contain more of the minerals and vitamins the body needs to repair itself on a daily basis. Your digestive and other body systems will function more efficiently when given the proper fuel.

2. It’s alright to use makeup for a beauty enhancer. But, don’t use any type of makeup. Mineral makeup uses minerals from the earth to give your face that natural glow. The minerals melt into your skin for a light finish that anyone can appreciate. Mineral makeup products are manufactured as bronzers, illuminizers, blush, eye shadow and foundation. Look for a mineral makeup product that doesn’t contain bismuth oxychloride which can cause skin irritations.

3. Play to your strengths. Concentrating on improving your weaknesses is not a good idea. You have been endowed with natural talents and your time is better spent practicing in those areas. Through your strengths you can bring something new to the world that will benefit your life and that of others.

4. Embrace who you are. We all have something we wish we could change about our bodies. That’s okay as long as you recognize the unique beauty you have inside of you. That realization and confidence will exude inner beauty and attract others to you.

5. Physical activity is important. The body was made to move. A strong body and a strong mind go hand in hand. There are many benefits to physical activity: good feeling endorphins, healthy body, low incidence of disease and increased concentration.

6. Find your faith. Why do you go on each day despite setbacks and problems? Finding a higher power to believe in gives you a purpose in life and shapes your character. When you have a set of principles to follow you have something to shore you up and keep you joyful and thankful each day.

7. Live boldly. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. If you have your mind set on a task, there is a way to achieve it. Even if you don’t succeed in your quest, you have discovered something about yourself that will help you in the future.

Beauty is a combination of outer confidence and inner strength. To find true beauty, look for natural ways to bring out the good traits you already possess.
